before the wiener roast...

My neighbour up the street, whom I do not know, has the cutest little wiener dog. Every time I see him, I gotta paint another because he reminds me SO much of my aunts dog from when I was a kid... Toe.

This one is still VERY much a work in progress. I will wiener it up after I get it to the point where I like it. Van Gough meets wiener. Its going to be WAY funny. Watch for it on ebay soon.

I've decided I'm gonig to do a series of satirical wiener dog works featuring wieners in famous paintings. Going to try for the Wienerlisa next.

I must confess, my photography these days is pretty bad. Its been raining here non-stop for what seems like months and I can't take my art outside to photograph like I usually do. Its really hard to get even half way decent pics under crappy builder light fixtues. It just means that anyone who buys one of these works will be really happy when they see it for real because it will look amazing in comparison to the photo.

Anyhow, I digress. I am reliving my childhood painting, Toe the wiener dog and Cocoa the siamese cat. The siamese cat was particularily hard to get a decent photo of. Ho hum. Maybe next year I'll get a good camera for christmas!

I've been busy painting most of december and very lax about posting on here. Will have a bunch of new stuff coming up for auction shortly. I was shocked when I realized its been since Nov that I've updated this. YIKES.
