30 Day Art Itch

I've decided I need some inspiration. So I have decided to so blitz of paiting. I'm going to list a paiting on ebay every day from Oct 8th to Nov 8th. Its a TONNE of work but I'm already SO insipred. I've been getting LOADS of input and photos. Please email me any doggie or other wise photo you'd like to see.

I think the highlight of it will be the Painting of Sweet Pea. She is a rescue matlese and has the most inspiring story and courageous mom! So please watch for that!

update on many things

Well, after a decent summer, I'm back in the swing of things art wise. Geering up for christmas season and the post christmans, "i'm just going to treat my self a little" season. :)

My uncle is doing well, which means, he is still alive, kicking. He's in a nursing home but hoping to be home before christmas. I have yet to ask if they are doing chemo so I don't know how realistic that goal is but pretty good for someone who barely made it through June.

My youngest child starts preschool in October. SNIF SNIF.

The weirdest thing that happened this summer was that Tom Cruise posts pics of his baby. Why is this weird you may ask? Well she looks just like my two oldest kids. SCARY. My 11 year old took one look at one of the photos and said "i've never seen that picture of me before". HEHEHE. My friends suggested I sell their pics to the tabliods and make some quick cash. The unauthroized Baby Suri pics. I'm just not that evil!

This is a piece that I put up for auction yesterday. Its really cool because its 5 canvases and it can be arranged in many different configurations.

an even harder day

I just foudn out that my uncle was moved to the ICU... that means that death will come shortly to him. I'm so upset I just need to put it out there.

ugh tough day

I've had a rather tough day. I found out my uncle who I really liked as a little girl, the one who used to call me Kit Kat, is dying of colon cancer. It really makes me sad. He went to the hosptial on saturday night and they sent him home. He went back again yesterday and they performed an emergency colostomy on him and said it was cancer. I worry about my mother who is in frail health and who is now worrying about her brohter.

I am expanding a little at the urging of my friends. Kim suggested a doggie purse and I thought that it was a fantastic idea. I'm going to put it up for auction shortly.

Its a knock off of a Burberry purse but its WAY fun. Enjoy!

time for a new photo

One of my collectors pointed out that I still have my ear muff shots up on ebay. She said it was time to take that down and put up a new shot. HEHEH... me in a bikini to celebrate the warm weather perhaps - NOT

I'm going to be putting up some doggie kid paintings which are a branch off the ever popular bride series. I've done a couple that I'm going to put up in the next few days and they are TOO CUTE. SO keep watching. I've added a sneak preview of them!

Many thanks to my avid collectors. You are my inspiration to keep at this. I've never had so much fun working in my adult life. I so appreciate the kind words and support. Without you guys, there woudl be no Kew.
